The Chapel Hill Thursday 7pm meeting will start an ongoing study of the new OA book Body Image, Relationships, and Sexuality on October 15, 2020. We will read from the book and share on what we have read on the 2nd and 3rd Thursday of each month, probably reading two to four stories at each meeting. If you’ve been wanting to read and talk about this book, please join us! You can get the Zoom information for the Thursday meeting by texting Anne L at 919-360-8711 or by calling or texting Mary Anne at 919-260-5693. The meeting information is the same every week, so save it somewhere handy to re-use!
A call for OA member stories has been announced. Find the information and release form at What’s New (oa.org/whats-new) and attached.

Did You Enter OA at Age 18-30? Send Us Your Story!
OA is looking for new stories to include in a revised To the Teen pamphlet for young people. Members ages 18 to 30 or who entered OA during that time of their life are encouraged to submit stories that involve any manifestation of the disease (overeating, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, and other compulsive food behaviors). Email your story to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “YP Story.” Submitted stories must include a signed release form. The deadline for submissions is April 1, 2019. Give service and hope: share your story and share the news about this opportunity—download the flyer to bring to your next group or service body.
A new Twelve Step Within pamphlet is available for download here. Please download it, make copies, forward it on to others and share it with your own groups.
Sharing this pamphlet with others will help our meetings and Integroup(s), it will help to make our meetings larger and help to keep members to come back. Read about how to form a Twelve Step Within committee for your Intergroup. Continue reading “New Twelve Step Within Pamphlet for Download”
